Beautiful Savior News & Updates
Saturday of Holy Week
There’s an interesting irony on the day after Jesus was crucified. The chief priests and Pharisees who were so concerned about the Law and often accused Jesus of working on the Sabbath go to Pilate on the Sabbath because they had some work they needed to do.
Wednesday of Holy Week
For the past few days, I have been offering opportunities for people to come in small groups to receive the Lord’s Supper if they would like. We met in the Boettcher Center (our gym) with nine chairs spread out seven feet from each other.
Tuesday in Holy Week
We read in Mark 14 about a woman who anointed Jesus with expensive perfume. Some who were there began to criticize her for the apparent waste. The perfume could have been sold to raise a lot of money to help the poor.

The Church in Action

Riding Out the Emotional Rollercoaster
There was a time in my life when I used to love riding rollercoasters. I would often sit in the first row so no one blocked my view of what was coming next. If it was a steep drop, bring it on. A corkscrew taking me upside down? Let’s go.
