Each morning as students and staff enter Beautiful Savior, temperatures are taken. For the fun of it, I like having my temperature read twice, first as I enter the building and then in the office. I have yet to have the same reading by both thermometers.

Yesterday afternoon, my wife Ellen and I spent some time at Kohler-Andrae State Park along Lake Michigan. The park holds many memories for us as both of our families would go there when we were growing up.

One question that has been posed quite a bit during the past several weeks is this: “Why is there such fear over catching COVID-19 when the statistical chances of requiring hospitalization if it is contracted are relatively low, and the death rate is also extremely low?”

One of Those Days
Today was one of those days that found me being busy with various things but left feeling as if I accomplished very little. Technology didn’t cooperate. Webinars didn’t offer the helpful insights I thought they would. Possible solutions for problems didn’t work. Creativity seemed to come to a standstill. It was one of those days.
