What is it about Jesus that impresses you? For me, the whole concept of the very Son of God coming from the glory of heaven to this earth, knowing full well the plan involved dying on the cross, leaves me in wonder and awe.

Is that how the wise men felt upon coming to Bethlehem and worshiping the newborn King?

Last week’s episode of Puppet Time with Pastor was recorded “on location” in my basement at my messy workbench. The fact is, cleaning and organizing that area of our basement is one of those things that I mean to get to, but never take the time to finish.

Sometimes, people differentiate between head knowledge and heart knowledge of Jesus. Head knowledge refers to knowing what the Bible says about Him, while heart knowledge is believing in Him as your personal Savior and knowing the joy of the Lord’s salvation.

I’m writing this at the end of a very emotionally draining day, yet one that was filled with several reminders of our Lord’s continued presence and work among us. “O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good. His mercy endures forever” (Psalm 136:1)

Greatness and Servant don’t always seem to go together. But when it comes to life in the Kingdom of God, things are different.
